Adam Cohen - Founder of Audible Remedies

My journey to sound healing is nothing short of serendipitous. The world has always seemed quiet without music following me wherever I go and there was a time recently in my life where I could no longer hear it. I experienced several traumatic events and that eventually led me to sound healing as a receiver. The vibrations rattled me to my core and exposed a part of me that I thought was lost. I found a sense of serenity after that first session and it was powerful enough to alter the next chapter of my life. From that experience, a deep passion developed for sound healing and sharing that experience and re-balancing with others.

I have been living and playing in Asheville, N.C since 2008, and I respectfully acknowledge that Asheville resides on the land of the Tsalagi (Cherokee) Nation. My three boys keep my cup filled while constantly trying to drain it, and my wife is the driving force behind Audible Remedies becoming a reality. I’m currently the Chief Financial Officer for a local outdoor company and I am the acting Treasurer for the Outdoor Business Alliance, a local non-profit that supports the outdoor industry in Western North Carolina. I have explored sound through several independent studies with local sound practitioners and have completed an in-person certification through The Sound Healing Academy, which has been providing professional sound healing training since 2003. I am currently pursing courses in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Core Shamanism offered by The Foundation For Shamanic Studies, as well as a certification in Somatic Embodiment & Regulation Strategies with Linda Thai.

I look forward to connecting with anyone and everyone that is open to exploring the power of vibrations. Be well.
